Goodwood is a large residential, commercial and light-industrial suburb within the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality in the Western Cape and therefore has no separate district municipality. It lies approximately 11 kilometres east of central Cape Town between Thornton, Epping, Parow, Vasco Estate, Monte Vista and Edgemead.
