Elsies River, also written Elsiesrivier, is a densely populated residential and industrial suburb within the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality in the Western Cape and therefore has no separate district municipality. It lies on the Cape Flats between Goodwood, Parow, Epping, Matroosfontein, Bishop Lavis and Ravensmead.
